The Opportunity:

Manulife IT Delivery Center Vietnam (MITDC Vietnam) is Manulife’s software engineering and IT services hub in Ho Chi Minh City. We design, build, and operate enterprise-grade digital products and platforms that power Manulife’s businesses across Asia.

At Manulife IT Delivery Center Vietnam (MITDC VN), we are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst who is excited to see the successful implementation of the products they deliver. You will play a key role in identifying user needs, clarifying business problems, and bridging business and technology teams. Working within Agile teams, the role leverages AI-assisted tools (Microsoft Copilot) to enhance productivity, requirements quality, and stakeholder collaboration.

On the job you will:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories using appropriate analysis techniques

• Model as-is and to-be processes; assess impacts across people, processes, and systems

• Validate requirements against business objectives, applying Human-Centered Design principles where appropriate

• Define and evaluate business solution options, assess value, and recommend approaches to stakeholders

• Support Agile delivery via backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and acceptance criteria definition

• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, engineers, and testers to ensure shared understanding

• Assist with testing activities (test strategy input, acceptance criteria, in-sprint validation) to meet Definition of Done

• Facilitate transition and change activities to enable successful adoption of solutions

• Leverage AI-assisted tools (Microsoft Copilot) to enhance requirements quality, documentation, and stakeholder communication while adhering to governance standards.

Job requirements

How well do you fit this job and rank among other candidates?

• A degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or related disciplines

• 4+ years of business analysis experience and/or a background in engineering (testing or software)

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum/Kanban) and using tools such as JIRA and Confluence

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear, structured communication across business and technical stakeholders

• Effective facilitation and influencing skills across multi-functional and multi-market teams

• High attention to detail, strong organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

• Core BA competencies (requirements elicitation, process modelling, backlog management, acceptance criteria)

• Experience or strong interest in using AI-assisted productivity tools (Microsoft Copilot) to support analysis and documentation activities.

You will stand out if you have:

• Experience in insurance distribution, operations, policy administration, or digital customer journeys

• Experience delivering digital products for multiple countries within a multinational organization

• Exposure to AI-enabled analysis workflows (AI-assisted requirements drafting, process documentation, backlog refinement)

• Awareness of responsible AI usage including data privacy, security, and compliance considerations
