About the Role

We are looking for passionate and curious Security Engineer Interns who are eager to build hands-on experience in real-world cybersecurity engineering. This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want to work at the intersection of software engineering, threat intelligence, and cybersecurity.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and security researchers to help develop and enhance next-generation vulnerability management, threat detection, threat intelligence, and security automation capabilities.

This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to large-scale security systems, OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence), vulnerability intelligence, and AI-driven security platforms.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop backend components using Python for vulnerability detection, data processing, and intelligence enrichment

  • Support frontend development using TypeScript and ReactJS for dashboards, threat views, and analytics

  • Contribute to building and improving threat intelligence pipelines and OSINT data ingestion systems

  • Perform OSINT research to gather intelligence on threats, vulnerabilities, threat actors, and attack techniques

  • Analyze and enrich data from multiple intelligence sources (CVE, NVD, MITRE ATT&CK, security advisories, public feeds)

  • Help convert raw intelligence into actionable detection rules and machinereadable security content

  • Work with structured data formats such as JSON, YAML, STIX/TAXII
  • Support development of vulnerability detection logic and misconfiguration checks
  • Participate in testing, validation, and quality improvement of detection content

  • Collaborate with security researchers to correlate vulnerability intelligence with threat intelligence
  • Contribute to technical blogs, internal knowledge base, or research write-ups

What You Should Bring

Must-Have 

  • Strong fundamentals in programming and problem solving
  • Basic proficiency in Python
  • Familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript and ReactJS
  • Understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or ethical hacking
  • Curiosity about how cyber threats work, evolve, and are tracked
  • Basic understanding of networks, operating systems, and web applications
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Good communication skills in English 

Preferred (Nice to Have) 

  • Exposure to Threat Intelligence or OSINT techniques
  • Familiarity with CVE, NVD, MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII, IOC analysis
  • Experience with OSINT tools (e.g., Shodan, VirusTotal, Maltego, etc.)
  • Participation in CTFs, bug bounty programs, or security research labs
  • Experience with Linux, REST APIs, and scripting/automation
  • Basic knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, or DevOps tooling
