On the morning of October 17, 2023, the meaningful and warm scholarship award ceremony took place, where ASQ Team representatives presented a scholarship worth 50 million VND for the Alumni Scholarship Fund for the Faculty of Information Technology (CNTT). During the event, Mr. Quý, a representative from ASQ Team and an alumnus of the Faculty of Information Technology (Class of 2004-2008), shared memories from his student days at the Faculty of Information Technology, VNUHCM-University of Science.
After nearly a decade, he still cherished memories of the faculty. Now, he and fellow alumni have joined forces to make practical contributions to support students facing difficulties, helping them strive for success in both academics and life.
Representatives from the Faculty of Information Technology, Mr. Văn Chí Nam - Vice Dean, and Mr. Cao Xuân Nam - Head of the Alumni Scholarship Fund Management Board, shared insights into the current situation of the faculty and the activities of the scholarship fund over the past years. In the academic year 2023-2024, after opening the scholarship application portal, over 40 applications were received. The Management Board arranged direct meetings with students to better understand their circumstances and current challenges, aiming to provide more practical support.
The Faculty of Information Technology expresses sincere and profound gratitude to the ASQ Team and especially to Mr. Quý. It is hoped that in the future, he will continue to accompany the faculty in creating educational opportunities and improving the lives of many generations of students in the Faculty.
