He was conferred the title of Professor in 2019. He has undertaken numerous NAFOSTED projects, projects from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science & Technology, and projects from the Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM). He has authored several scientific papers and articles in international journals.

Assoc Prof. Dr. Vu Hai Quan is currently the President of the Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM). In February 2005, he earned his Ph.D. from the University of Trento, Italy. In October 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hai Quan was honored with the title of Honorary Professor by the Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Additionally, he has executed numerous software projects and has authored several scientific papers and articles in international journals.

Dr. Le Khanh Duy is currently the Head of the research group on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and the Deputy Director of the Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the Department of Information Technology. He also serves as an advisor for the Software Engineering Laboratory. Dr. Le Khanh Duy has diverse research experience in HCI and user experience (UX) research/design in both academic and industrial environments. Before returning to Vietnam and joining the Ho Chi Minh City University of Science (HCMUS), VNU-HCM. Dr. Le Khanh Duy worked as a research specialist in the user experience research group of the ABB Corporation in Sweden, and prior to that, in the HCI research group of Technicolor Research & Innovation, France. He earned his Ph.D. in HCI from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and previously a Master's in Information and Communication Technology from Télécom ParisTech, France. Dr. Lê Khánh Duy also graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the HCMUS. He has been involved in various European research projects and has led collaborative projects for technology transfer and deployment with businesses in the field of HCI and UX design.

He obtained a B.Sc. degree in computer science of the honor program from the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Science, VNU-HCM, Vietnam, in 2012, and a Ph.D. degree in informatics from The Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI), Kanagawa, Japan affiliated with the National Institute of Informatics, Tokyo, Japan, in 2019. His research interests include group testing, identifying/discriminating codes, computational biology, machine learning, security, and Buddhism.
