The NAFOSTED Conference on Information Science and Computer (NICS) is an international forum for researchers, implementers, and policy makers to present and discuss recent advances and future directions in addressing challenges in the field of Information Science and Computer. NICS is organized annually by the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED) in Vietnam.
The 7th NICS Conference in 2020, co-sponsored by IEEE, NAFOSTED, and the University of Science (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), was held on November 26-27, 2020.

The conference program covered various topics and themes, including:

Computational Intelligence

Multimedia Technology
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, all papers were presented either in-person at the conference or online via the Internet. The proceedings of the conference were published by IEEE.
The best papers were invited for extended versions to be submitted to the journal "Intelligent Data Analysis" (indexed in ISI). Other selected papers were expanded for a special issue of the "Journal of Information and Communication Technology Research and Development" (recognized by the State Professorship Council).
