On December 22, the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Science, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM-US) hold a Commendation, Reward and Scholarship Ceremony for excellent students in the school year 2021-2022; students achieve high results in the Olympic Informatics Contest (hold by (VNUHCM-US), International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC Asia), and students who receive scholarships from businesses and the Alumni Scholarship Fund (ASF).

Attending the ceremony included representatives of the university and IT faculty:

• Associate Professor. Dr. Tran Minh Triet - Vice Principal of the university
• MSc. Nguyen Thi Tham - Deputy Head of Student Affairs Department
• Dr. Dinh Ba Tien - Head of IT faculty
• Dr. Lam Quang Vu - Deputy Head of IT faculty
• National Excellent Teacher, PhD. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Member of the mentor’s team
• MSc. Cao Xuan Nam - head of the executive board of the Alumni Scholarship Fund

On the Business side, there was the participation of:

• Mr. Lam Tuan Khanh - Director of Insurance Delivery department of DXC Technology company
• Ms. Nguyen Thi Vong - Director of FPT Software Southern Academy
• Ms. Happy Nguyen - General Director of GeoComply Vietnam
• Mr. Huynh Thai - Senior recruitment specialist at PwC company

The program aims to commend and encourage more than 100 outstanding students and motivate them to constantly practice and develop their talents.
