With the goal of accompanying and supporting students of the Faculty of Information Technology on their learning journey, helping them to be confident and equipped to enter life, the Alumni Scholarship Fund (ASF) announces the acceptance of application documents from diligent students with difficult backgrounds who are currently studying at the Faculty of Information Technology, VNUHCM - University of Science.

I. TARGET GROUP

Undergraduate and College students currently studying at the Faculty of Information Technology, VNUHCM - University of Science.

II. CONDITIONS

• Students with difficult backgrounds (confirmed by local authorities)

• GPA >= 7.0 (for sophomores or above)

• No academic transcript is required for freshmen

III. SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT

Full scholarship for difficult students worth 1,700,000 VND/month, equivalent to 17,000,000 VND/academic year (10 months).

IV. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Students who wish to apply for the scholarship must complete the online application form, including:

• Application form (attached below)

• Scanned copy of academic transcript for the academic year 2021-2022 (obtained from the academic office)

• Photograph or scanned copy of poor household registration book or certificate of difficult backgrounds issued by the local authorities (valid)

Students who are awarded the scholarship will be required to submit hard copies of the application documents.

• The Scholarship Fund Management Board may conduct online interviews with some applicants from November 8th to 10th, 2022.

• The preliminary results will be announced before November 18th, 2022.
