2023 is the sixteenth year of the Student Competition on Information Security (IS) held in Vietnam and the fifth time the competition has expanded its influence to ASEAN countries.

The competition aims to promote, disseminate, raise awareness and responsibility for information security (IS) in higher education institutions; as well as promote research, learning, experience exchange, and updating on modern technology knowledge in the field of IS. In addition, the annual Student Competition on Information Security also aims to discover talents in the field of IS, promote the training of high-level human resources in IS, and create a playground to enhance the exchange of knowledge among students from universities and technical academies in ASEAN countries.

Expected schedule of ASCIS 2023:

• Preliminary round: expected to be held in early October 2023

• Semi-finals, Finals: expected to be held at the end of October 2023

The Computer Security Club is organizing the registration for this year's competition for HCMUS students who are passionate about IS.

Registration details:

• Registration period: until September 5th, 2023.

• Registration methods:

• Register as a team (encouraged to register with 4 members)

• Individual registration (the club will assist in forming teams)
