The LSMSE, short for Le So Memorial Scholarship of Excellence, is one of the scholarships founded by the Sunflower Mission with the mission of aiding outstanding students facing challenging circumstances in Vietnam, providing them with the best opportunities to pursue and realize their dreams of higher education.

ELIGIBILITY
The scholarship is available to the following candidates:
- University students who have passed the entrance exam with a minimum total score of 24/30.
- Freshmen students who have completed their first semester or second semester with a minimum GPA of 8.0/10 or 3.2/4.0. If applicants haven't completed their second semester, they can provide their grades later.
- Students from all fields of study are eligible, with preference given to students in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) disciplines.
- Applicants must come from challenging financial backgrounds, and consideration may be given on a case-by-case basis if there is no proof of poverty.
SCHOLARSHIP VALUE
The scholarship offers $2,000 per year per recipient, based on the current exchange rate, for the entire duration of your undergraduate program, provided that you continue to meet the scholarship's requirements throughout your studies. The scholarship is disbursed on a per-semester basis, with $1,000 awarded per semester.
Recipients will also receive mentorship and support from experienced mentors throughout your academic journey.
Furthermore, they will have opportunities to participate in support programs such as the English Initiative to improve your English language skills and community-focused activities like 'Trọn' and ' H.O.P.E. library'. Through these activities, each student will gain valuable experience and essential skills."
APPLICATION PROCESS TIMELINE
10/8 - 10/9: Online application period.
13/9 - 14/9: Email notifications of preliminary results.
16/9 - 24/9: Interview period.
02/10: Announcement of final results.
