Embedded system Intern
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Contribute to product development and validation of embedded firmware used within Fossil's connected wearable products.
Support next-generation firmware platform R&D.
Support prototyping new hardware and help assess the feasibility of new architectures.
Contribute to and learn firmware architecture development.
Execute best practices in firmware development and validation.
APPLY NOW IF YOU HAVE
Background from Mechatronics, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Programming experience (Embedded C, C++, Python, etc.)
Experience with MCU and related development tools (IAR, gcc/gdb, eclipse, etc.)
Experience with code version control system.
Experience with hands-on prototyping, debugging, and problem-solving.
Familiar with lab/measurement equipment and tools.
Can articulate thoughts clearly as well as listen to and consider others' ideas.
Nice to have
Experience working with various communication buses (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.), bare-metal, and RTOS.
Experience reading and understanding hardware schematics.
Experience with wireless stacks such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, 802.11, etc.
Experience with code analysis tools.
