The VNOI CUP is an annual programming competition organized by the Vietnam Olympiad in Informatics Club - VNOI, under the auspices of the Vietnam Informatics Association. Following the success of the 2022 and 2023 seasons, VNOI CUP 2024 promises to offer contestants high-quality problems, exciting competition moments, and attractive prizes. With new changes to the competition rules, who will make a difference and assert their position in this year's VNOI CUP?
Timeline & Structure of the Competition
From June 2nd to June 16th, the online qualifying rounds will be held on the VNOJ platform:
- First qualifying round: 20:00, June 2nd
- Second qualifying round: 20:00, June 16th
Each round will last 180 minutes with 7 problems.
The VNOI CUP 2024 finals will take place from July 26th to 29th with the participation of the 25 best contestants who advance from the qualifying rounds.
Online Qualifying Rounds Format:
Note: In both qualifying rounds, contestants are allowed to use only one account. The organizing committee will cancel the results of all rounds and permanently ban the VNOJ account of any contestant who violates this rule.
Prize Structure:
- Rank 1: 20 million VND + VNOI CUP 2024 Championship Trophy
- Rank 2: 15 million VND + Silver Commemorative Medal
- Rank 3: 10 million VND + Bronze Commemorative Medal
- Rank 4: 5 million VND
- Rank 5, 6: 2 million VND
- Top 25: VNOI CUP Rank Certificate + VNOI CUP T-shirt
In addition to valuable prizes for the outstanding contestants in the finals, the organizing committee will award 150 exclusively designed VNOI Cup 2024 T-shirts to contestants who achieve excellent results in the qualifying rounds.
