Tracks:
● AI Track: Design & implement cutting-edge machine learning for bioinformatics (e.g., drug discovery).
● Algorithm Track: Design efficient algorithms for bioinformatics pipelines, focusing on scalability & performance.
Shared Responsibilities:
● Develop & maintain data pipelines for training, inference, and analysis.
● Collaborate with scientists & engineers to translate problems into solutions.
● Continuously learn & develop in bioinformatics.
● Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
● Ph.D./Master's in CS, AI, Bioinformatics, or related field (experience may substitute Master’s)
● Strong experience in algorithm design & analysis (data structures & algorithms)
● Experience with biological data (DNA sequencing, protein structures) a plus
● Excellent programming skills (Python) & experience with large datasets
● CUDA programming experience is a plus
● Experience with machine learning libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn (AI Track)
Bachelor's/Engineer Applicants:
We consider final year students or fresh graduates with a strong foundation in:
○ CS degree
○ Data structures & algorithms
○ C++ programming
