CYBER SECURITY INTERN

SOFTWARE SECURITY: The Software Security team focuses on cloud security and application security, which takes the lead in integrating security into the DevOps processes. The team also takes part in the security operations center (SOC), which continuously monitors and analyzes the organization’s security posture.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Providing supports under the mentorship for the following tasks but not limited to:

• Tracking and following up security issues for the its status and remediation.

• Assisting in developing automation scripts/tools for security-related testing/workflow.

• Supporting the mentor/senior on daily security tasks.

• Assisting on security-related research activities.

• Other duties as assigned by the mentor.

WHAT WE NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security related field or equivalent work experience. / Preference given to students enrolled with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Security related field or equivalent work experience.

• Knowledge of Linux-based systems and open-source, understanding of DB management & application development.

• Hands-on experience in scripting/automating in one or more programming languages.

• A demonstrated good logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Good at English in communication skills including oral and written.

• A big curiosity and desire to learn about how real-life security works.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of common security-related frameworks/best practices such as  OWASP Top 10 (Web, Mobile, API ..) , CWE 25, MITRE ATT@CK etc. is a plus.

• Understanding/hands-on on any public cloud environment such AWS/Azure/GCP is an advantage

• A Tracked record of participating in any security/programing-related competition such as CTF, coding challenge is an advantage

• Any equivalent certificate is an advantage.
