
On July 12th, the "FIT@HCMUS Summer School on LLM and AI" commenced its first session, welcoming nearly 300 attendees, including lecturers, alumni, students, learners, and researchers from various universities and IT companies in the city.
The "FIT@HCMUS Summer School is an annual program organized by the Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Information Technology, University of Science, Viet Nam National University - Ho Chi Minh City. This year, the summer school focused on Large Language Models and Artificial Intelligence providing the science and technology community an opportunity to update their knowledge in these two fields. It also created an environment for students, master's students, doctoral candidates, and lecturers to delve into in-depth and timely topics, such as advanced Machine Learning, Intelligent Interaction, Computer Vision, and more.
On Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, the summer school had the honor of hosting distinguished guests and presenting the following topics:
Keynote Speech: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Triet: Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Assisting Medical Image Analysis
Dr. Le Thanh Tung: Multimodal Comprehension Models for Vietnamese Visual Question Answering
Dr. Le Trung Nghia: Generative AI for Creativity
Dr. Nguyen Truong Son: Large Language Models for Text and Chatbot
MSc. Nguyen Hong Buu Long: Machine Translation and Transformers
