Registration for the Seminar "Ecosystem Monitoring, Modeling and Robust Control of Underwater Vehicles”

On June 29, 2023, Professor Ali Mansour from ENSTA Bretagne, France, will visit the VNUHCM - University of Science and organize two seminars to engage with lecturers, undergraduate students, and graduate students of the Faculty of Information Technology.

Some information about Prof. Ali Mansour:

Professor Ali Mansour received a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Liban in September 1992, Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Signal, Image, and Sound Processing from INP, Grenoble, France, in July 1993 and January 1997, respectively, and an HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches, the highest degree in the French system) from UBO, Brest, France, in November 2006. He used to be responsible for various positions, including Postdoctoral Researcher at LTIFR-INPG (Grenoble, France), Researcher at BMC-RIKEN (Nagoya, Japan), Teacher-Researcher at ENSIETA (Brest, France), Senior Lecturer at ECE Curtin University (Perth, Australia), Visiting Professor at ULCO (Calais, France), and Professor at Tabuk University (Tabuk, KSA). Currently, he holds the position of Professor at ENSTA-Bretagne (Brest, France).

Prof. Ali Mansour has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and is the author and co-author of several books or book chapters. Throughout his career, he has successfully supervised many colleagues, research students, and postgraduate students. He is a senior member of IEEE and served as Vice Chair of the IEEE Signal Processing Chapter in Western Australia for two years. Prof. Ali Mansour has also been the Chief Editor for the EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing and is currently the Chief Editor for the Sensors Journal of MDPI Publishers. His research interests include Blind Source Separation, High-Order Statistics, Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Telecommunications, Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Warfare, and Cognitive Radio.
