The Institute for Infocomm Research is a member of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) family and is Singapore’s largest ICT research institute. Situational awareness analytic department at Institute for Infocomm Research Singapore is an R&D department on video analytics range from front-end’s object detection, tracking, behavior recognition and data mining in surveillance cameras. By working as part of our team, you can have learning opportunities on video analytic technologies in a great research team. We have some available internship positions with the below information:
1. Project title: Benchmark deep learning algorithms in object detection.
2. Requirement: 3rd or 4th year student. Strong in C/C++ and probabilistic.
3. Working place: 6 month full-time at Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore.
4. Salary: 800 S$/month.
5. Closing date: 30/11/2016 (or earlier if positions are filled)

Short Bio. Pham Nam Trung is the lab head of tracking and detection at Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore. He is involved in some video analytic projects for military training, urban solutions and smart nation as a team leader or a principal investigator. His research focuses on multiple object tracking, object detection and pattern recognition.
