VinaCapital, the leading fund management firm in Vietnam, is preparing to implement an Investment Management System (IMS), which deploys a central database and integrated suite of applications for the following areas: investor relationship management, pre-investment workflow, portfolio management, and back-office accounting.
To support the upcoming implementation, VinaCapital wishes to contract an IT Specialist in the area of Financial Data, for a period of six months with potential thereafter for contract extension or full-time employment.
The position is based in HCMC and reports to the Head of IT, who will act as VinaCapital project manager for the implementation.
Main duties:
Import of data from legacy systems and external sources and import into the IMS;
Learning the data structure of the IMS database;
Database administrator duties;
Learning the dashboard-design and report-writing tools of the IMS;
Writing dashboards and reports based on user specifications;
Other duties as required by the project manager.
Requirements:
University degree in IT.
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English and Vietnamese.
Minimum of 4 years experience in database administration and report-writing.
Minimum of 2 years work experience in IT in Finance.
